A five-ingredient Asian fusion cooking demonstration class will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hale Halawai on Alii Drive. Participants will learn how to create an Asian-influenced menu using only five ingredients per recipe.

A five-ingredient Asian fusion cooking demonstration class will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hale Halawai on Alii Drive. Participants will learn how to create an Asian-influenced menu using only five ingredients per recipe.

The menu items include ginger poached fish with lime basil creme, baby carrots with sweet ginger butter and ginger edamame rice. The class fee is $15, which includes recipes and food tasting.

The class is taught by Abbey Golden and sponsored by the Department of Parks and Recreation, Culture and Arts. To register, call 961-8706.
